Samsung Announces EX1 Digital Camera

Samsung has released a 10-megapixel EX1 in South Korea.The pro point-and-shoot sports a 3-inch AMOLED display that flips out from the body as well as an f1.8 24mm ultra-wide lens. It uses a 1/1.7-inch CCD sensor with both hardware and software image stabilization and maximum ISO 3,200 sensitivity.
 
The highest-end Samsung compact camera has RAW image support and users can set shutter and aperture priorities, and have full control in a manual shooting mode. The EX1 will not record HD videos however, with H.264-format video limited to 640×480 pixels at 30FPS. The EX1 costs the equivalent of $530 in South Korea, but there is no updated details about its launch in North America. Previously, however, the TL500 was said to arrive in the US this spring, priced at $450.
